Eoljjang, also spelled as Ulzzang is a popular South Korea term literally meaning "best face" or "good-looking". Many uljjangs have entered the Korean entertainment business and some have risen to stardom. Although the word originated in South Korea, followers of such trends could be seen in China and Japan, but can also be found in Taiwan, the United States, Canada, and Europe.
GYARU
Gyaru is a Japanese transliteration of the English word gal, that of girl being gaaru .The name originated from a 1970s brand of jeans called "gals", with the advertising slogan: "I can't live without men", and was applied to fashion- and peer-conscious girls in their teens and early twenties. Its usage peaked in the 1980s and has gradually declined. The term gradually drifted to apply to a younger group, whose seeming lack of interest in work or marriage gained the word a "childish" image. It is now used almost interchangeably with kogyaru (a contraction of kôkôsei gyaru,high school girl) involves wearing an outfit based on a Japanese school uniform, but with a shortened skirt, loose socks, and often dyed hair and a scarf as well.

LOLITA
Lolita fashion is a fashion subculture originating in Japan that is based on Victorian clothing as well as costumes from the Rococo period.The Lolita look is primarily one of modesty with a focus on quality in both material and manufacture of garments. The silhouette is of a knee length skirt or dress with a 'cupcake' shape assisted by petticoats. Blouses, knee high socks or stockings and headdresses are also worn. Lolita fashion has evolved into several different sub styles and has a subculture that is present in many parts of the world.

the difference between chinese/taiwanese ulzzangs and korean ulzzangs is their eye make up.
chinese ulzzangs love thick false eyelashes.
while korean prefer to apply mascara than use false lashes.
